Finalists announced in the Lincolnshire Young Environmentalist Award

Final judging in the Lincolnshire Young Environmentalist Award will take place on Wednesday 24 May at the Education Centre, Whisby Nature Park, Lincoln.

The Lincolnshire Young Environmentalist Awards recognise and reward the enthusiasm, hard work and commitment of young people. The Awards aim to foster a sense of responsibility for the environment and reward schools, groups, clubs and individuals for the fantastic achievements that are being made.

Final judging in the Lincolnshire Young Environmentalist Award will take place on Wednesday 24 May at the Education Centre, Whisby Nature Park, Lincoln. The children will make presentations to the judges and the winning entries will be announced at approximately 12:30pm.

The finalists are:

  • Birchwood Junior School, Lincoln
  • Stanford Junior and Infant School Gardening Club, Grimsby
  • Grow with Nature Club, Hawthorn Tree School, Boston
  • Bourne Abbey c of E Primary Academy
  • Kirkby La Thorpe Primary Academy, Sleaford
  • Waddington All Saints Eco Club, Lincoln
