Junior Wardens. A monthly opportunity for young people aged between 11 and 18 to get involved in practical conservation activities on the nature reserve. This month we will be helping to manage the wild flower meadow.
About the event
A great opportunity once a month for young people aged 11-18 who would like to help on a nature reserve, get involved in conservation and learn new skills. With a mix of practical conservation tasks and educational sessions, we promise to teach you what there is to find in nature and how to look after it. Join us for practical habitat management tasks and wildlife identification. Sessions will take place outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Junior Wardens aged 16 and under will need an accompanying adult. Equipment provided. This month we will be learning about managing wildflower meadows.
Places must be booked in advance by contacting: faringseducation@lincstrust.co.uk or 01562 637055.
