Monthly Workshop: What's That Bird?
Whisby Nature Park,
Moor Lane, Thorpe-on-the-Hill, LN6 9BWAbout the event
Love watching birds but struggle to know what that small brown job is skulking in the bottom of the hedgerow? Love listening to bird song but don't know the difference between a robin and a wren? Got a pair of binoculars but the birds are always over the horizon before you've focused on them? Come along to our workshop and learn about how to become a better birder... Led by the Head of Engagement at Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and expert birdwatcher, Matthew Capper.
Meet at Whisby Education Centre for a 10am start. Parking available in visitor car park, parking charges apply. Refreshments are included and are available throughout the workshop, but you will need to bring your own lunch (or money for lunch at the Natural World Centre). Bring your own binoculars if you have them, we have limited stock for those who don't. Please ensure that you're appropriately dressed for the weather on the day and are wearing sturdy and comfy walking boots or shoes.
We have standard Adult tickets and Student tickets available. If you purchase a student ticket, please make sure you bring your student ID with you on the day.
