About the event

A walk around Scotton Common led by Matt Cox the Northwest Lincolnshire Warden. This is a joint meeting between The Scunthorpe and Brigg Area Group of the LWT and the Scunthorpe Museum Society.

Start at 10am from the car park which is part way along the Laughton Road by the large electricity pylon, grid reference SK 874 985. There is room for 12 to 15 cars. Timed to coincide with the Marsh Gentians being in flower. Matt advises comfortable footwear for walking on natural paths and would council against wearing shorts. The length of time on site will depend on the group's speed and how much of the reserve they would like to see.
