Area Groups in South Lincolnshire
Hello from Bourne Area Group!
As a group we promote the conservation ideals of the Wildlife Trust by encouraging members of the public to join us. During the winter months we provide a series of illustrated talks at the Methodist Church Hall, Bourne while during the summer months we visit various areas for walks.
We have over 10 nature reserves in the Bourne, Stamford and Deepings area including Dole Wood, Toft Tunnel, Horbling Line, Robert's Field, Stanton's Pit and Deeping Lakes.
For more information on our events, follow our Facebook page or get in touch with us below. Everyone is welcome to join our meetings - you don't have to be a member! We look forward to meeting you.
When: Usually third Friday of the month, 7.30pm
Where: Bourne Methodist Church Hall, Bourne, PE10 9LH
As a group, we promote the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust in the Bourne, Stamford and Deepings area. Our meetings are usually held at the Bourne Methodist Church Hall.
If you're looking for some outdoor exercise with likeminded others, you can join a work party at Deeping Lakes. Work parties take place most Tuesdays and Fridays.
Please wear work clothes and bring a drink. Gloves and tools are provided.
To get involved, contact Dave Vandome on 07775 566586 for more details.
In 2019, we celebrated our 50th anniversary. Dave Vandome, member of the Bourne Area Group, Wildlife Watch leader and Volunteer Reserve Manager, put together this record of the Area Group's activities. Click below to download your e-book.
