Monthly Workshop: Autumn Mandalas
Whisby Nature Park,
Moor Lane, Thorpe-on-the-Hill, LN6 9BW
About the event
Join Sue Fysh at Whisby Education Centre to create your own Autumn Mandala from natural materials found around the grounds.
We will be working outside to make beautiful circular designs from berries, rosehips, acorns, leaves, sticks and anything else that might be around. We will photograph them, then leave them to disappear naturally over the following weeks.
A mandala is a circular geometric design that can be found in many cultures and religions across the world and is often used as a symbol of the interconnectedness of life and as a focus for meditation.
Where a workshop is dependent on the weather, we may have to make changes or, on rare occasions due to extreme weather, cancel to ensure the safety of all.
