About the event

Join Alford and Mablethorpe Area Group for a talk on Hawthorpe by a staff member of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. The Trust is working to secure 87.65 hectares of rare grassland near Hawthorpe in south-west Lincolnshire, running along the banks of the East Glen River. The land sits within one of the county’s most nature-depleted landscapes, surrounded by intensively farmed land, and represents a rare opportunity to protect and restore a large, connected area of wildlife-rich habitat.

Meetings are free but we usually have a raffle. Donations to group funds are always welcome.

There is some parking adjacent to the hall with more almost opposite in East End car park. Coffee or tea is usually served either before the meeting or perhaps during the interval. Meetings normally finish about 9pm.

You do not need to be a member to join our activities, all welcome!
