About the event

John Robinson is a man on a mission. What he originally intended as a domestic orchard on a quarter-acre plot has evolved into an inspirational space encompassing a food forest, hazel coppice, wildlife pond, kitchen garden and much more. Paths wind through trees, alongside sections of dead hedging, past water, soft fruits and wildflowers. John has studied permaculture and make numerous trips to other projects to learn first-hand from examples on all scales of agroforestry, regenerative horticulture, silvoarable systems and other methods. He has experimented widely.

We are excited to have John coming to speak about the ups and downs of creating the Woodland Orchard - now something of a personality in its own right with a YouTube and social media presence - and what he has discovered along the way.

This event is organised by the Sleaford Area Group but everyone is welcome - you don't have to be a member of the group or the Trust! There will be an interval during the talk with a raffle and refreshments.

There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the hall or on the opposite roadside.
