About the event

Wildlife Watch is a monthly club for children aged 5 to 11 years old to get out and experience our natural world. We have five Wildlife Watch groups around the county and for this event, it is our Alford group that is heading to Sandilands for sea dipping!

Like pond-dipping but in the sea! We will be on the beach and paddling out with nets and collecting buckets to see what is living beneath the water surface, and in the sand, at this fantastic coastal nature reserve. We will help the children identify and learn about the wildlife they find in their nets.

Parents/Guardians are required to stay and supervise children during sessions.

Booking is essential for us to manage numbers so please reserve your place via the contact email below.

You do not need to be a member to join our activities, all welcome!
