About the event

Join our team at Whisby Education Centre for pond dipping fun at the start of the summer holidays. We'll use nets to find out what creatures live in Thorpe Lake at Whisby as well as other activities related to our wonderful freshwater habitats.

Only children aged 5+ years are able to pond dip on the platform, all children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the platform.

Where an event is dependent on the weather, we may have to make changes or, on rare occasions due to extreme weather, cancel to ensure the safety of all.
