About the event

This event is part of our Dragonfly Day activities to celebrate Whisby Nature Park's designation as a Dragonfly Hotspot.

Book a timed half hour slot to have a go at dipping nets in Thorpe Lake at Whisby. There will be time to look at the amazing creatures we find including perhaps some dragonfly nymphs. 

(Children under 5 years cannot take part in the pond dipping on the platform. All children must be accompanied by an adult on the pond dipping platform.)

  • 2pm - 2.30pm
  • 2.30pm - 3pm

Where an event is dependent on the weather, we may have to make changes or, on rare occasions due to extreme weather, cancel to ensure the safety of all.
