About the event

Grantham Area Group are joined this month by Chief Executive of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, Paul Learoyd, to give us an informed view on the potential new reserve at Hawthorpe.

Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust is working to secure 87.65 hectares of rare grassland near Hawthorpe in south-west Lincolnshire, running along the banks of the East Glen River. The land sits within one of the county’s most nature-depleted landscapes, surrounded by intensively farmed land, and represents a rare opportunity to protect and restore a large, connected area of wildlife-rich habitat.

All welcome, you do not need to be a member to join our activities.
