About the event

Learn the traditional heritage skill and conservation technique of hedge laying. After an introduction inside, the majority of the day will be spent outside using hand tools to practice techniques and learn how to use stakes and bindings to create a laid hedge barrier. Once learned, you can use this technique in your own green spaces to create wonderful, wildlife friendly barriers and borders.

Where a workshop is dependent on the weather, we may have to make changes or, on rare occasions due to extreme weather, cancel to ensure the safety of all.
