Talk: Cycle tour of Lincolnshire Nature Reserves
Event details
About the event
Join Gainsborough Area Group for a talk by Professor Libby John, Chair of the Trust, on her challenge to cycle to every Trust nature reserve in Lincolnshire and her reflections on nature in Lincolnshire.
Professor Libby John set herself the challenge hoping to find out more about nature in Lincolnshire and raise some money to support nature's recovery. She has now completed that challenge, cycling almost 1,700 miles across Lincolnshire, from the Wash to the Humber, Stamford to the coast, in weather including glorious sunshine, snow, rain, hail and gale-force winds.
There will be an interval with refreshments. Raffle tickets are £1 each - raffle prize donations are most welcome (non-alcoholic).
Parking is available at Roseway car park.
All welcome! You don't need to be a member to join our activities.
