Talk: Plastics in our Oceans
Event details
About the event
This month members of the Sleaford Area Group will be joined by guest speaker and the Trusts' Senior Education and Community Officer, Vicki Bush. Vicki has a special interest in marine life and will discuss the ongoing problems that plastics in our oceans create from the large amounts that are readily visible to the smallest pieces that affect the microorganisms.
It should be within our control to at least reduce the amount being added but can we realistically do anything about the amount that is already there?
No booking necessary.
All welcome! You don't need to be a member to join our activities.
There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the hall or opposite roadside. £2 entry fee, raffle and refreshments at half time, meetings must be finished by 10pm.
