About the event

This month, members of the Barton Area Group will be heading out on a birdwatching trip to Scarborough starting at the North Bay (Scalby Mill) and ending up at the South Bay Harbour looking for winter sea birds, divers ,waders and ducks. Don't forget your binoculars!

Meet at the car park at Ness End, Far Ings National Nature Reserve, for 9am to go together - car sharing is available. This is a full-day activity and is expected to finish around dusk.

To get to Ness End Farm from Barton-upon-Humber, travel west along Far Ings Road, go past the brown signs for Far Ings Visitor Centre and past the turning for the hotel. The road narrows and after 300 yards Ness End Farm car park is on your right (please note that the postcode for satnav is DN18 5RG, but this will also take you to the main Visitor Centre car park).
