About the event

Join us for an inspiring morning of conservation, actions and discussion.

In this special morning, compered by Melvyn Prior, we will hear from the community finalists in the Lincolnshire Environmental Awards and the winner for 2026 will be announced. 

There will be opportunities to ask questions and meet a range of community organisers. It’s the perfect opportunity to pick up tips on how to transform your garden, community space or small landholding into a haven for wildlife and be inspired by the amazing projects that are happening across Lincolnshire neighbourhoods. 

Bring your sandwiches for a community picnic in our woodland. 

We will also be unveiling the plans for the transformation of the Education Centre into the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Whisby HUB (Helping Understand Biodiversity). This has been influenced by you and your communities so that we provide the support and learning opportunities you have asked for.  We would love to hear more about your thoughts and ideas for support, involvement in the network.

Tea, coffee and cold drinks will be available.
