About the event

Learn about the history of the sanctuary, the shorebirds that call it home each summer, and how our team works to protect the last breeding colony of little terns in Lincolnshire. 

What’s on the day:

  • Information displays
  • Interactive activities
  • Shorebird crafts around the Visitor Centre
  • A self-guided trail leading down to the beach
  • Family-friendly beach fun including Wild Art and “Be a Shorebird Warden”. 
     

There are also pre-bookable guided walks on: Shorebirds and their conservation and Experience the High Tide. Guided walks must be booked in advance as places are limited. This event is suitable for all ages. Parking is available, normal parking fees apply.
