About the event

This evening, Spilsby Area Group are joined by guest speaker Viv Rhodie for her talk on swifts. Swifts spend most of their lives soaring high in the sky, only ever landing to nest. They spend the winter in Africa but travel to Britain every year in April and May. 

Viv will also be talking about the swift box project where members of the Horncastle and Woodhall Spa Area Group have been building and selling handmade nest boxes to help swifts re-establish long-lost colonies whilst raising money for the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust.

Light refreshments will be available.
