About the event

Next year will be the 50th anniversary of the shorebird sanctuary at Gibraltar Point, which protects rare species of breeding shorebird each year from 1st April to the 1st September on our Lincolnshire coast. Richard Doan, warden for Gibraltar Point, will give a talk on the history of the sanctuary, the measures that volunteers have to take to protect these rare birds and also the challenges that these species face. 

All welcome, you do not need to be a member to join our activities.
