About the event

Join Alford and Mablethorpe Area Group for a talk on 'The Wildlife of North Macedonia' by Gill Walsh. Gill will describe her visit to North Macedonia in 2022. This sparsely inhabited country has a variety of habitats which encourages a wide range of wildlife from birds (she saw 124 species) to various plants. They have over two hundred species of butterflies and many moths. It also has Roman remains from 4th century BC.

Meetings are free but we usually have a raffle. Donations to group funds are always welcome. There is some parking adjacent to the hall with more almost opposite in East End car park. Coffee or tea is usually served either before the meeting or perhaps during the interval. Meetings normally finish about 9pm.

You do not need to be a member to join our activities, all welcome!
