About the event

Join members of Horncastle and Woodhall Spa Area Group for a talk on a remote trip to the sparsely populated northern Kazakhstan during the major spring bird migration with spectacular flocks of ruff and many other species. Home also to the threatened and very shy saiga antelope and other mammals in part of a conservation initiative covering an area the size of Turkey.
