Talk: Down Under
About the event
John and Georgie spent six weeks in the south west and south east of Australia and in Hong Kong last autumn and would like to share some of their experiences on this illustrative evening talk. One comes across many references to Joseph Banks of Revesby, one of the early explorers, and they saw a number of Banksia (plant) species. They will also share their close encounters with quokkas, a small wallaby, and humpback whales.
