Guided Walk: Tunman Wood
Meeting pointWhisby Nature Park car park, by the entrance
About the event
This month, join members of the Horncastle and Woodhall Spa Area Group for a guided walk through Tunman Wood with Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Warden, Phil Porter. Tunman Wood is reputed to have been on the old cross country route between Temple Bruer and Eagle, used by the Knights Templar.
The walk will last roughly 1.5 - 2 hours. The distance covered is about 3km.
Due to limited parking, meet at Whisby Nature Park in the area of the car park nearest the entrance, at 10:10 am. Depending on the number of cars, it may be necessary to car share from Whisby to get to the wood which will then be organised.
No booking necessary.
All welcome! You don't need to be a member to join in our activities.
