The fence before - by Florence

We have had such lovely Autumn weather recently that the small band of volunteers and I have been able to get on with painting the fence in the wildlife garden.

Our two youngest members of the team have drawn pictures showing the transformation from a bright rainbow fence into one painted black.

Painting the new black fence - by Rufus

You may be wondering why we have chosen black. It is because we want to use the fence as a wildlife art gallery space to show off any wild art and flat, woven willow or hazel sculptures. Black lends itself beautifully to showing off these creations.

Watch this space for another update in the coming months.
