Wildlife Gardening with NCS

Tom Marshall

Young people from the National Citizen Service join us at Whisby Nature Park to help with the wildlife garden.

We are part of group 2 from NCS (National Citizen Service) a programme for young people to gain skills during summer. We are currently working at the Whisby Education Centre, regenerating an overgrown area into a garden containing rare wild flowers, benches, flower beds and fences.

Our group have completed the weeding and are now about to begin the flower beds. Once all is completed the garden will be a tranquil area for people to relax and gather thoughts in a quiet shaded area.
