The North Lincolnshire Edge Survey Areas

All Life on the Verge surveys have now been completed. We would like to say a huge thank you to all of you who helped!

Take part....

Can you spare a couple of hours this summer to visit a road verge near you and look for just a shortlist of recognisable wildflowers? Only one visit is required and no previous experience is necessary. Read on to find out how you can obtain a survey pack and claim your verges.

Zoom in....

We have divided the whole project region into smaller areas outlined on the map to the left. Click inside each area for a list of towns and villages. You can then use the link from within the information bubble to look at the survey sections within that survey area.

Further information:

To help you carry out the survey, please download the Wildflower ID Guide, Survey Guidance Notes and Survey Form. The Guidance Notes include health and safety advice and guidance on how to carry out the survey to ensure we collect information in the most useful way. Vests and printed versions of the above documentation are available by post from the Project Officer who can be contacted at:, 01507 526667, Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, Banovallum House, Manor House Street, Horncastle, Lincs., LN9 5HF.
