Snow update

Gibraltar Point visitor centre to remain closed over the weekend.

It's been an unexpectedly eventful few days with heavy snowfall followed by strong winds. We've been following the advice from Lincolnshire Police and only travelling when journeys were essential. For us, that has meant only the Reserve Staff have been out and about checking on livestock.

Due to the continuing treacherous conditions we are asking anyone considering visiting a nature reserve this weekend to be extremely cautious. There is the potential for drifting snow, ice and, fallen trees and branches.

The Gibraltar Point Visitor Centre will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday.

The High Tide Breakfast, beach clean at Anderby Creek and the Lincolnshire Naturalists' Union AGM at Whisby Nature Park have been cancelled.

If you do visit a reserve and come across any particular issues such as trees down over paths, please report via
Thank you
