Residential Volunteer

Join our friendly team and assist in the running of the Education & Visitor Centre and delivering education activities.

Volunteer post with accommodation provided
6 month placement (April-Oct)
Based at Far Ings National Nature Reserve on the south bank of the Humber Estruary

Suitable for someone looking to begin a career in environmental education. The role will include assisting with educational events and school visits plus helping with some daily tasks in the Education and Visitor Centre. The residential volunteer will be part of a rota to open and close the visitor centre and be responsible for other volunteers helping in the shop, this will include weekends and some evenings.

Far Ings National Nature Reserve

Good team working skills, good communication skills, enthusiasm and the ability to be self-motivated are essential.
A current driving licence would be desirable.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.
