Pop into our Visitor Centre anytime over Easter and pick up one of our self-guided trails.
Follow the trail and get the secret code to collect your Easter Egg.

The popular Whisby Easter Egg Hunt is back for 2012!
Crack the mystery and unscramble the mess the Whisby Easter Bunny has left.
Prize for each completed trail leaflet, available from the Natural World Centre.
Please note this is a self-guided trail and requires adult supervision. Run in partnership with the Natural World Centre.

   Afternoon walk: Harbingers of Spring

Experience the harbingers of springs as well as the birds, invertebrates and plants that can be found on the Nature Reserve.
The walk extends over about 1.5 miles and returns to the Visitor Centre at about 3.30pm.
Suitable for families.

Join us to catch up with our nocturnal friends after their long winters sleep and find out more about our furry flyers. Bat detectors provided. £3 per child

Beachcombing with a purpose: to survey the beach and record what's found to build a better picture of what lives where.  The surveys are very straightforward, previous knowledge of marine wildlife isn't necessary as there will be experts on hand to help with identification.

Saltfleetby—Theddlethorpe National Nature Reserve

Fully Booked
Learn about ponds and the wildlife that lives in them.  There will be information on how to create and manage your own wildlife pond including which plants to use and which are best avoided.  There will also be a chance for some pond dipping to look at some aquatic animals up close and a walk to visit the natterjack pools on the reserve. Cold drinks will be provided, please bring your own hot drinks and a packed lunch.

There is no charge but places must be booked in advance by calling the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust Headquarters on 01507 526667.  Further information will be provided after bookings have been made.

The workshop is part of the Discovering the Natural Environment events in the Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marshes.

The aim of these walks is to thoroughly survey a range of wildlife species within a chosen restricted area on the Nature Reserve.
