Guided Walk: Breeding Birds
About the event
June is a very busy time of year for birds as they are nesting and defending territories. Avocets will be most prominent on the water bodies, the reedbeds will be alive with the sound of reed and sedge warblers. Whitethroats will be common in the scrub and cuckoos may be seen roaming extensively around the reserve, on their search for an ideal host.
Meet in the Visitor Centre car park at 8.30am.
No need to book, all welcome!
