Donna Nook Closed

Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust have taken the decision to keep the seal viewing area at Donna Nook closed for the rest of the seal pupping season.

On Wednesday 2 December, Lincolnshire will be placed into Tier 3 of coronavirus lockdown conditions. To help stop the spread of the virus and to keep our staff, volunteers, the local community and the seals safe, we will be keeping the seal viewing area closed. We would ask everyone to follow the Government guidelines and not to visit Donna Nook.

We would like to thank everyone for the messages of support and their interest in the seal colony. Staff will continue to be present on site to manage the situation and monitor the colony. We’ll also continue sharing a weekly pupdate and photos of the seals on our Facebook page so be sure to give us a follow.

As a charity, we’ve been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. Wildlife needs your help now more than ever. Please, if you can, donate to our seal appeal and help us to keep protecting the seals and their important habitat.
