Eastfield Road Railway Embankment

Small grassland area with specialised plant species.

The grassland of the reserve represents a type of habitat with specialised plant species that has all but disappeared through changing land use. Plants of interest include bee orchid, yellow-wort and restharrow, and over 50 species have been recorded.

Due to the sensitivity of the site and the terms of the Trust's agreement to manage railway land, access is by special permit only.
