Explore the outdoors this autumn

The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has plenty lots of autumnal events to encourage children to get off the sofa and enjoying an outdoor adventure

Wildlife Watch pumpkin (cpt Amy Lewis)There are opportunities to discover the magical world of fungi, enjoy the autumn colours of woodlands and, if you’re brave enough, join some spooky Halloween and starlit walks. 

The events are based at the education centres at Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve near Skegness, Far Ings National Nature Reserve near Barton and Whisby Nature Park near Lincoln, and with Wildlife Watch clubs across the county. 

For all the events, children must be accompanied by an adult and booking in advance is essential.

A special starnight for children and delve into the night’s sky to discover what is actually up there.

Make a variety of items: bird boxes, tables and feeders, to help our feathered friends through the year.

Hibernation with the Whisby Wildlife Watch Group

Wildlife Watch Groups
Wildlife Watch is our junior branch and we have Wildlife Watch clubs around the county.  These clubs have meetings every month and are run by local volunteers, supported by the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust’s Wildlife Watch Organiser. Booking in advance is essential.
