Lincolnshire Environmental Award 2016 finalists announced

The finalists in the Lincolnshire Environmental Award will make presentations to the panel of judges on Thursday 26 May at the Bentley Hotel in Lincoln.

Community groups, businesses, farmers and schools from Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire have entered the Lincolnshire Environmental Awards 2016. The judges of the green award scheme have been visiting entrants and have now drawn up the list of finalists.

The final judging and announcement of the winning entries in each category and of the overall winner takes place on Thursday 26 May at the Bentley Hotel in Lincoln. The panel of judges will be chaired by renowned environmentalist Professor David Bellamy.

Members of the press are invited to attend the presentation day and dinner.
The winning entrants in the Young Environmentalist Award will be announced at approximately 11:30am.
