Environmental education activities are offered for groups at our four principal reserves. These activities are based on the study programmes that are available for formal education parties but taught on an informal basis to provide a fun alternative learning environment.
Activities available range from pond dipping and mini-beasts to orienteering and sustainable energy investigations. For more information please see the 'programmes' section for each principal reserve.
If your group can not visit our reserves, a member of the Education Team can come to your base to provide activities on site. Whenever possible activities can be tailored to suit the specific requirements of a group. Previous visits have covered topics such as waste recycling, environmental games, bird box building and grounds development.
There is a charge for both visits to reserves and outreach work. This is variable depending upon the activities chosen, time required and group size.
